Driftwood functions as an included touch of beauty from our oceans and coasts.
One exceptional artist uses those roaming pieces of wood to produce towering and complex work of arts.
Jeffro Uitto makes use of driftwood which he discovers near his home on the Washington coast. He then makes art jobs which can range in function from big sculptures to household home furnishings or fancy trim.
Jeffro’s website states “Every task that rolls out of the store enjoys the same careful building and construction whether it’s a rose bud made from cedar shavings or a commissioned sculpture.” Some of Jeffro’s driftwood furnishings consists of coffee tables, living room chairs and even little bar setups.
Each piece has a practically classic appearance, due to the imperfect lines, holes and indents of the driftwood. Jeffro also has a line of distinct sculptures.
Some of the pieces can be described as abstract sculptures, while others portray animals such as crabs.
