DIY Driftwood Furniture
This appearance is basic to achieve using reactive spots. Maple is no longer hard to stain, when you react with the tannins inside wood. This was stained with Weatherwood Recovery stain sealed with Weatherwood Satin varnish (the only way to hold the colors).

DIY Driftwood Furniture Using Weatherwash
Give you kitchen area a great update by including a pop of the best gray wood! Common discolorations are smelly and do an awful job of developing a reclaimed wood look. Using Weatherwash Aging Wash: STORM on this really economical Ikea cart, we made it look like a driftwood without the wait! This is hands down the simplest way to obtain the driftwood gray!
1. Sand wood. Just raw wood will work.
2. Apply Aging Wash and Watch the magic occur! Do not rub out. Simply permit it to dry naturally. This is the natural way to age wood, after all!
3. To hold that very matte appearance, usage Satin Varnish. It’s an excellent sealer for cabinets and the sheen assists the wood from staining!
Pointer: Just Weatherwash topcoats can hold the appearance of our aged wood!

How to aquascape a tank: it’s tough to try to verbally explain an aquascape design. Look for angles to cut the tank with your eye.
I need to do more videos about how to aquascape and aquascaping with drift wood theory videos. Triangles and angles are key. You also need some really sweet driftwood. Don’t go cheap on driftwood–if you see an expensive, awesome piece, BUY IT. In my opinion, never try and put driftwood directly in the center of the tank. It just doesn’t look right in an aquascape. How to Sink Driftwood: Manzanita Driftwood in Aquarium
Driftwood is a great addition to your aquarium’s hard scape, but sinking some driftwood takes some patience. I am excited about all of the Manzinita driftwood I have now and loving all of its cool shapes. It naturally floats like a cork, so I am going to be battling that for a while. It’s a part of the game with good drift wood.

DIY Aquarium Rocks and Driftwood
In this video, I’ll be discussing basics of collecting and preparing driftwood and rocks for the home aquarium.
During filming I received a semi-important text and kinda lost my train of thought. A couple of things I left out that you should look out for when collecting rocks-
1) Crystals/Geodes- Crystals are high in mineral concentrations. I’m no geologist, so I don’t know the specifics of what they can leach, but it’s good to stay away from them.
2) Orange/Red spots/drips/streaks- This is rust. It indicates that the rock contains some kind of metal deposit. Stay away from it, as some metals can be toxic and all metals are harmful in significant quantities.
