In this video I talk a lot about the Water Sprite plant and why I love it!
Water sprite can balance any tank, especially in those new tank phases. It can be a floating plant, a planted plant, or a plant attached to rocks or driftwood. It grows crazy fast no matter what way you place it in the tank. It also does not need fertilizers, but will benefit. Its great for low tech low light set ups or high tech co2 set ups.
This plant literally out competes the algae. It does it easy too.

I’ve looked all over for tutorial videos, how to’s and/or ideas, to help me out with making decorations. I did find a couple of videos using PVC in aquariums that were functional but not much for appearance. Because I couldn’t find anything to help me with this little problem I had (Not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for aquarium decor.) I couldn’t help but wonder if there were any others out there with this same problem. Since I was already going to be creating something for myself. Why not, just set up my camera, document my work done and possibly help others. I can’t possibly be the only one with this interest… Maybe… Either way, I’m happy with the way it turned out. Plywood 3×5 (size I used) or 4×6
PVC pipes 4inch, 2inch, 3inch, 1.5inch – (I cut them all about 2-4 inches high I did a range of sizes)
PVC Pipe cutter
White Spray Paint (flat or matte finish)
Epoxy – JB Weld Clear (make sure to get the 5 min clear dry )
White paint & brush
