Finding Driftwood for an Aquarium

Today I went out to the river to find some pieces of driftwood for my 90 gallon aquarium I have actually been working on. Why spend for this stuff if it’s laying around for free to just go and choose up? I’ll clean it great and might mount it to a flat piece of slate or something to keep it on the bottom.
