SubstrateSource “Marimo log” is a living freshwater aquarium decoration that’s great for small tanks with dwarf shrimp, betas, guppies, or other small fish. The “log” is a specially selected piece of SubstrateSource cholla wood, the all-natural dried husk of the cholla cactus. The green, Marimo algae is then hand tied to the cholla and allowed to naturally fluff out to form the pillow-like surface of the Marimo log. Each piece is unique and may vary in color or shape, but all are approximately 6-7 inches long.
