Our basswood planks are perfect for your country, cabin, or rustic themed event or craft. Basswood is best known for its excellent wood burning and wood carving qualities. Use as a centerpiece to display vases, bouquets, candles, or mason jars with fresh wildflowers. These planks are cut, kiln dried, and left un-sanded for a natural, rustic feel. Each wood slice is approximately 11 inches long x 7-9 inches wide x 0.75 inch thick. The rectangle shaped wood slice has an untreated, blonde surface complimented by dark, rich tones of bark along the edges. All of our wood products undergo a dry kiln process which sterilizes, wicks away moisture, and preserves the integrity of the bark. Each product is unique and carries its own natural characteristics as this is a natural product and may not match the picture identically.
