This video reveals how a living room can be changed with a change of paint, and an economical wood accent wall. The space goes from warmer beige and red tones, to the cooler, more modern gray tones, and it gets a cool, unique accent wall. Redwood bender board – which is generally used in landscaping – proves to be an excellent, and more cost effective option for this job. It is cut at differing lengths, and stained with two different tones of stain, then it is attached to the wall using brad nails. Finally, brand-new drapes and furnishings are brought in for a new eclectic look.
